MSCHF’s Global Supply Chain Telephone and Racquet present the GSCT Racquet, a handbag that plays with visual codes of sport and luxury. The bag arrives in a vivid neon green felt, immediately recalling the surface of a tennis ball. Its boxy structure contrasts with the soft texture, while oversized orange letters spelling GSCT stretch boldly across the front.

A curved zip pocket cuts through the typography, adding both function and a sense of motion to the surface. Rounded top handles in matching green keep the silhouette cohesive, while a detachable strap hooks discreetly to the sides for alternate carry.
GSCT Racquet measures 27cm x 24cm x 11cm, crafted from felt with a twill interior. The detachable shoulder strap allows the user to switch between crossbody and hand carry. Inside, the bag organizes storage with a card pocket, while the exterior features a zippered front pocket and a slim back pocket for essentials.

The form itself carries an international story. In Peru, the starting shape borrowed from a Birkin reference. Portugal reshaped that base with cues from a Celine bag. India added influence from Dior, adjusting proportions, while China closed the sequence with Balenciaga-inspired elements. Each stop altered the outline, producing a final silhouette that mixes sharp edges, curved handles, and a graphic front arc.
This process explains the GSCT Racquet’s balance of play and structure. The tennis-ball green felt, bold letters, and zip slash across the front turn function into part of the visual language. The bag openly shows the mix of influences behind it, reflecting the “Global Supply Chain Telephone” process, where each factory reworked the design with a new reference before passing it on, until the final version took shape.

Function anchors the piece as much as concept. Felt gives the exterior a tactile quality and vibrant surface, while the twill interior supports structure and durability. The detachable strap enables quick shifts in use. The compact size reinforces portability without losing presence.
Priced at $650, the GSCT Racquet is available now through GSCT’s website. It works as a practical carryall while also serving as a record of its own design process, marked by a vivid sports-inspired look.
