Diesel has joined forces with Eastpak for their first-ever collaboration, a collection that pushes luggage into new territory. The partnership takes Eastpak’s core silhouettes and filters them through Diesel’s design vocabulary, creating a series that plays with texture, illusion, and utility. Both brands position the line as an “ultimate companion for a successful journey,” grounding the release in travel while channeling Diesel’s irreverent energy.
At the center of the collaboration sit five of Eastpak’s most recognized models: the Day Pak’r, Shoulder Bag, Springer, Shop’r Tote, and Transit’r Luggage. Diesel injects these familiar shapes with its trompe-l’oeil techniques, placing illusion-driven graphics across the bags. Multi-pocket constructions, distressed finishes, and coin-pocket logos, hallmarks of Diesel’s design, become printed details that alter the visual identity of each piece. These touches transform the bags into objects that play tricks on the eye while remaining practical for travel.
In addition to the printed versions, two silhouettes, the Day Pak’r and Shoulder Bag, arrive with a bi-textured approach. Eastpak’s Cordura fabric pairs with Diesel’s signature denim, producing a tactile contrast that underscores the collaboration’s hybrid spirit. This material combination bridges Eastpak’s history of durability with Diesel’s long-standing use of denim, anchoring the project in the strengths of both brands.
Another defining element comes through a new deconstructed logo. Designed to appear as if peeling away, the Diesel logo reveals Eastpak’s marker beneath, placing both brand identities on the same surface. This visual device reinforces the collaborative nature of the collection without disrupting the integrity of the original bag shapes. It turns branding into part of the design story rather than a separate layer.

Two prints dominate the series. The first, a trompe-l’oeil denim pattern, extends Diesel’s signature textile into the language of illusion. The second, labeled a “bi-material mash-up,” emphasizes layered textures and contrasts, projecting the illusion of complexity onto simple forms. With these graphic treatments, Diesel transforms functional luggage into canvases for its design experiments, while Eastpak ensures the products retain the practicality for which they are known.
The Diesel x Eastpak collaboration is now available online and in both brands’ stores. By combining Diesel’s subversive prints with Eastpak’s proven silhouettes, the collection expands the conversation around what travel gear can look like, balancing function with a sense of playful disruption.
