NIGO has teamed up with Levi’s and Nike for a fresh reinterpretation of the Air Force 3 Low, a basketball silhouette first released in 1988. The three-way collaboration reintroduces the model with two new editions: “Olive Grey” and “Enigma Stone.”

The Air Force 3 Low carries a history rooted in late 1980s basketball culture, but this release takes a new approach through material play and design cues. NIGO, known for his streetwear influence, brought Levi’s into the project to infuse the sneaker with denim details. The addition of Levi’s fabric marks a departure from NIGO’s earlier collaborations that favored patent leather and pony hair.

The “Enigma Stone” version uses washed indigo denim across the upper, paired with brown suede overlays and navy details. The mix produces a look that feels retro yet forward-leaning. A metallic leather Swoosh cuts through the design, adding polish to the otherwise rugged palette. Levi’s branding appears on stitched tags along the side panels.
In contrast, the “Olive Grey” colorway takes on a rougher character. Distressed textures, rugged suede, and a pre-yellowed midsole push the sneaker toward a vintage aesthetic. The design mimics the wear of old denim, giving the pair the look of jeans that have aged naturally over time. Metallic Swooshes and Levi’s tags return here as well, tying both sneakers together under a unified theme.

Beyond materials, the collaboration builds a strong storytelling layer into its packaging and finishing details. Each pair arrives in a box printed with a vintage “Air Force 3” graphic that recalls the model’s basketball roots. The insoles reference Levi’s legacy with imagery taken from an old advertisement, bringing Americana directly into the shoe’s construction. A playful twist appears on the heel tabs: one foot reads “Nike Air,” while the other reads “Ogin Force,” a wordplay nodding to NIGO’s name.
Scheduled for Holiday 2025, the NIGO x Levi’s x Nike Air Force 3 Low arrives as a collaboration that underscores the influence of cross-industry partnerships in sneakers. By revisiting a basketball silhouette from 1988 with denim, suede, and playful details, the project underscores how archival models can gain new relevance through creative reworking. Both pairs release during Holiday 2025 and retail for $150 USD through Nike.
