The release of the final season follows a three-part schedule. Volume 1 lands on 27 November with four episodes, followed by Volume 2 on 26 December with three episodes. The story concludes with the Finale on 1 January.
Netflix also invites fans to retrace the show’s legacy before the finale begins. Starting 29 September, audiences can rewatch Seasons 1-4 through special programming on Stranger Things social channels and Tudum’s wensite. These guided features revisit storylines, character arcs, and turning points that have shaped the narrative, giving fans the opportunity to reconnect with every layer of the saga before entering the final fight.

The story begins in the fall of 1987, as Hawkins reels from the devastation caused by the opening of the Rifts. Vecna has vanished, his next move unknown, while government forces place the town under military quarantine and intensify the hunt for Eleven. Forced back into hiding, she carries the strain of isolation as Hawkins braces for conflict.
As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, a heavy dread returns. The group prepares for a confrontation more dangerous than any before, with Vecna’s power growing darker and deadlier. Season 5 sets the stage for a decisive battle that will determine Hawkins’ future.

With a Legacy Featurette, a global rewatch campaign, and three carefully timed release dates, Netflix ensures the conclusion of Stranger Things carries both weight and anticipation. Stranger Things 5 delivers one last mission, one last campaign, and one last adventure, the definitive end to a story that has shaped television since its debut.
