Valentino releases its Fall Winter 2025 campaign with Clairo at the center, as Alessandro Michele continues to shape the Maison’s evolving narrative. The designer returns to his fascination with fringed brunettes, with Clairo now taking on that role as one of his muses.

Clairo’s presence with the Maison has grown steadily throughout the year. She attended the Valentino FW25 show in the spring. Soon after, she became a brand ambassador and wore Valentino for her first Met Gala appearance. Her look included a dramatic tiered skirt, a grey tweed jacket, and a cat clutch, establishing her as a new face of the house on one of fashion’s largest stages.

The Fall Winter 2025 campaign serves as the third chapter in Clairo’s relationship with Valentino. She stars alongside Kembra Pfahler, Aimée Byrne, Isabella Pascucci, Shane Stevens, Hana Janata, Sanique Dill, Weiyi Fang, Bukwop Kir, Paul Scally, and Giuseppe Cirillo. This diverse cast extends the themes introduced during the Paris show, reinforcing the campaign’s focus on multiplicity and intimacy.

Michele enlisted Glen Luchford, his longtime collaborator, to photograph the campaign. Luchford recreates the red-tiled bathroom set from the FW25 runway presentation. The space functions as what Michele calls “a counter-place where private and relational dimensions mingle.” Through his images, the bathroom becomes more than a stage, it transforms into a liminal environment filled with bodies, gazes, and encounters.

Michele expands on the concept by imagining life beyond the show, where the red-tiled space could host other existences, unspoken desires, and shifting intimacies. Through this lens, he reinforces the tension between identity and dress that defines his work with Valentino.

Clairo’s involvement also connects fashion to music. Following the release of her third album Charm in 2024, the singer has entered a new stage of her career. Her evolution in style mirrors her growth as an artist: once known for her understated presence, she now embraces the theatrical silhouettes of Valentino.

Valentino positions this campaign as a continuation of the ideas presented in Paris. By returning to the bathroom setting, the Maison insists on its symbolic power, a site where personal and collective identities converge. The cast assembled by Michele ensures that the campaign resonates as a layered exploration of dress, intimacy, and possibility.
