Fendi partners with Stray Kids leader Bang Chan on a new music project, unveiling the single Roman Empire along with a video filmed at Palazzo della Civiltà Italiana in Rome. The track, written, composed and produced by Bang Chan, reflects a shared creative language between the artist and the House, connecting music, craftsmanship, and the visual identity of Fendi.

The collaboration marks Bang Chan’s first official release as Brand Ambassador, expanding the relationship into a fully developed artistic exchange.

The video traces a narrative of evolution, opening with a quiet, pre-debut version of Bang Chan before shifting into a modern portrait of a global artist. Shot inside and outside Fendi’s Roman headquarters, the film features looks from the Pre-Collection Spring Summer 2026 and reflects the partnership’s focus on growth, self-definition, and the idea of legacy. Throughout the song, references such as the Peekaboo bag and the FF logo appear as lyrical symbols, reshaped through Bang Chan’s voice into a contemporary tribute to Rome and the Maison’s history.

Sonically, Roman Empire blends smooth vocals with airy synths and a kick-driven rhythm, drawing from R&B and Miami Bass influences. The lyrics frame love through imagery of the Eternal City, weaving in playful lines linked to Fendi codes, including the Peekaboo and the double F. The tone mirrors the duality of the video, intimate but cinematic, grounded in storytelling through performance and fashion rather than pure product placement.

The project rolls out in stages, beginning with a teaser released on October 31. The full version debuts November 3 at 6 PM, including an outdoor premiere at K-pop Square’s mega screen in COEX, where the video will play eight times between 6 and 8 PM. Fendi will publish the full screening schedule through its official KakaoTalk channel. Roman Empire will also be available on Fendi.com and across the brand’s social platforms.

To mark the release, Fendi will host a private event on November 4 at Palazzo Fendi Seoul Boutique, featuring a live performance by Bang Chan. The gathering is positioned as a crossover moment between music and fashion, giving guests direct access to the artist’s performance and the creative context behind the single.
Roman Empire follows Fendi’s past collaborations with global music figures, including Jackson Wang in 2018 and Song Yuqi in 2025. The project continues the House’s approach of partnering with young talent whose influence stretches across culture rather than a single industry, while giving Bang Chan the opportunity to expand his artistic identity in a context that reflects both Seoul and Rome.
