adidas Originals and Brain Dead return this December with a head-to-toe capsule that draws from early-2000s sport and video game culture. The collaboration follows a series of earlier projects between the two brands, including explorations of tennis references, Japanese wrestling aesthetics, and reinterpretations of adidas silhouettes. This release expands the partnership through a complete range that includes apparel, footwear, accessories, and limited collectibles.
SPORTSWEAR
The collection delivers a full wardrobe offering shaped by sporting references and circuit-driven visuals associated with the era. Reflective silver elements and sculpted panels appear across the apparel, drawing from the adidas archive. The lineup pairs these materials with Brain Dead graphics and custom crests, creating a consistent visual language across each category.

Apparel anchors the capsule with several key pieces. A Japanese Noragi-inspired Climacool track top arrives with matching track pants. A metallic football-style jersey appears alongside coordinating shorts, while an all-over print goalkeeper jersey adds a second performance reference. The range also includes an additional track top, track pants, and a t-shirt. Each garment carries Brain Dead’s graphic treatment and crests, reinforcing the collaborative identity throughout the lineup.
Accessories complete the apparel offering. A sling bag and a beanie extend the collection’s visual cues into smaller formats, maintaining continuity with the reflective finishes and graphic language found across the clothing.

Footwear focuses on two adidas silhouettes. The Climacool 2 traces its origins to 2003 as the follow-up to the original Climacool sneaker, introducing a futuristic vent system at the time. Brain Dead reworks the model with metallic vents, reflective green mesh, and yellow accents, applying its aesthetic sensibility to the archival design. The Taekwondo Mei Brain Dead presents a contrasting option, featuring a black upper, white stripes, and an off-white outsole.
Beyond apparel and footwear, the collaboration includes two collectible figures informed by classic video game culture. The figures reflect Brain Dead’s surreal visual approach and reference the experimental tone associated with the early 2000s. The collectibles will not enter standard retail. adidas Originals and Brain Dead will offer them exclusively through a raffle on CONFIRMED, running for the duration of the collection’s availability.
The adidas Originals x Brain Dead capsule arrives in limited quantities on December 18. The collection will be available through CONFIRMED, select adidas stores, select retailers, and wearebraindead.com.
