Moncler and Rick Owens introduce their Spring Summer 2026 collaboration as a seasonal first. The collection shifts the partnership into warm-weather territory while retaining the tension and severity that define its visual language. Drawing from Berlin’s brutalist architecture and Moncler’s outdoor knowledge, the project proposes a summer uniform shaped for movement along the edges of the city.
Owens describes the concept as “brucolic,” a term that captures the friction between rigid urban forms and surrounding greenery. Berlin provides the visual reference point. Its heavy concrete structures inform the collection’s angular surfaces, graphic treatments, and disciplined silhouettes. Silhouettes move fluidly between street and open terrain. Kilt shorts and asymmetric jersey skirts set the tone, paired with tonal hiking socks and Trailgrip Megalace sneakers.

Black, dark dust, and vintage olive anchor the range, while carnelian red enters the collaboration for the first time. The red punctuates the collection with intensity, cutting through the muted base. This palette reinforces the architectural references while remaining suited to summer conditions.
Angular Geocamo quilting references concrete facades, translating architectural mass into wearable pattern. Graphic embroidery follows the same logic, using line and geometry to echo structural repetition found across Berlin’s buildings.

Lightweight leather and nylon replace heavier constructions, while windbreakers and relaxed jerseys introduce airier proportions. The collection experiments with volume through exaggerated shoulders, cropped lengths, and nipped-in waists. Relaxed bombers sit alongside sharper profiles, allowing the wardrobe to shift shape while maintaining a consistent visual stance.
The collection supports creative, gender-neutral styling throughout. Cuts resist rigid categorization, encouraging individual interpretation across body types. Proportion becomes the primary tool, with shoulders, hems, and waistlines guiding how garments sit and move. Sunglasses, quilted bucket hats, caps, and waistbags carry the Geocamo language and reinforce the collection’s functional direction.

A series of intimate images accompanies the release, photographed by Juergen Teller. The cast brings together Rick Owens and his wife and muse Michèle Lamy, alongside Teller and his wife and creative partner Dovile Drizyte.
