PUMA and the California-based label Nahmias reveal their debut capsule collection centered on the iconic Suede sneaker. This partnership focuses on the specific West Coast lifestyle aesthetic that defines the Nahmias brand. The design team integrates playful elements with the traditional structure of the shoe. Each pair features characteristic detailing such as vintage-inspired touches, crocheted accents, and decorative friendship beads.

Nahmias focuses on texture and material contrast for this release. The designers utilize intentional imperfection to differentiate the product from standard athletic footwear. The construction includes distressed leather formstrips and asymmetrical suede toe overlays. Exposed foam edges contribute to a raw, handcrafted appearance. Crochet laces and intricate detailing provide a softer dimension to the sneaker. On the interior, the footwear contains co-branded graphics. The designers also included the phrase “Let’s Be Friends.”

The collection first appeared on the runway during Paris Fashion Week. The silhouette arrives in three distinct colorways. The “Vintage Red” option presents a white suede upper paired with red accents and gum tooling. The “Vintage Black” version offers a darker, more understated look for the user. Finally, the “Crochet” edition prioritizes color and varied surfaces. This specific version features crocheted formstrips and a palette of pastel hues.

The project demonstrates how a label can alter a classic silhouette using specific material choices. Nahmias avoids standard competition aesthetics to favor an expressive, life-focused design. The use of crochet and distressed leather separates these items from traditional sports kits. By focusing on the voice of the California label, PUMA introduces a new perspective on a familiar shape.

The PUMA x Nahmias Suede arrives for an initial release on February 12, 2026. This launch takes place at an exclusive event hosted by both brands at Maxfield in Los Angeles. This physical location allows local customers to see the materials and textures in person. Following this regional debut, a global launch begins on February 13, 2026.
