Fear of God partners with Vanson Leathers on a limited-edition hooded bomber. The collaboration centers on a single garment that applies the House’s established pattern to leather construction developed through the Vanson atelier. The release brings together Fear of God’s outerwear design and Vanson’s experience in leather production through a direct adaptation of the silhouette.
The jacket follows Fear of God’s hooded bomber structure, translated into a leather format produced by Vanson. This approach connects an existing outerwear design with a material associated with Vanson’s work. The collaboration builds on a clear transformation of the silhouette while maintaining its recognizable form.

Laser-cut leather appliqué defines the surface of the garment, featuring ESSENTIALS artwork on the front and a large “26” on the back. The graphic direction draws from references linked to racing and on-court sport, giving the jacket a clear visual identity. The construction introduces additional elements that shape the jacket’s structure. A quilted lining lines the interior, while side pockets integrate into the outerwear format. Rib-knit cuffs and a waist hem frame the silhouette, maintaining the proportions of the hooded bomber.
Fear of God has developed a consistent approach to outerwear through its core collections and ESSENTIALS line, often working with familiar silhouettes and refining them through material and proportion. This collaboration extends that approach into leather, using Vanson’s expertise to reinterpret a recognizable form. The hooded bomber retains its identity while introducing a different texture and weight through the use of leather.

The partnership with Vanson Leathers marks a focused release, built around a single garment that connects two distinct design approaches. Fear of God contributes its established visual direction and pattern work, while Vanson applies its manufacturing knowledge and detailing techniques. Together, they produce a jacket that reflects both perspectives through its construction and surface treatment.
The piece is available under the name Vanson Essentials Leather Hooded Bomber and carries a retail price of $1,195.
