CAMILLA AND MARC introduces its Pre-Fall 2026 collection through a short film The Power Woman. Developed under the creative direction of Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman, the film draws from female archetypes and places them within a constructed version of 1980s corporate America. The setting unfolds at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel, a postmodern structure described as a “city within a city,” where its brutalist and sci-fi qualities shape the tone of the narrative.

Abbey Lee takes the central role as Susie Batton, a corporate lawyer based in downtown Los Angeles. The story follows her through a sequence of events that move between police interrogation and personal entanglements. As the narrative develops, the character reveals a controlled and unwavering approach to her circumstances, defined by consistency and resistance to pressure. The film frames this presence as a reflection of power, expressed through action and decision.

The collection aligns with this direction, focusing on how clothing responds to movement and change. Silhouette, structure, and drape define the approach, shaping garments that follow the body. The concept considers dress as a point of stability, offering support through shifting conditions.
Draping plays a central role, with construction that follows the body through wrapping techniques and soft structures. Fringing and tassel details appear across the Evara and Dune stories, adding texture within refined forms. Tailoring introduces a different structure through sculptural shoulders, defined waists, and architectural lines. Outerwear holds a key position, with oversized coats, voluminous trenches, and wrap silhouettes designed for layering. Pieces such as the Memoria coat and Passage trench reflect this approach, built to move across different conditions while maintaining their form.

Knotting and tactile finishes bring definition, while wool, including Australian RWS-certified wool, appears alongside leather, sheer fabrics, and textured knits. Fringing, jacquards, and surface treatments create shifts between weight and lightness.
Deep burgundy, chocolate, charcoal, black, and stone form the base, with softer tones introduced to extend the range. Camilla Freeman-Topper describes the collection as a personal exploration of power expressed through dress. She explains that the work focuses on how fabric, texture, and shape can create a sense of grounding and direction. The Pre-Fall 2026 collection launched globally online and in boutiques.
