Reebok joins Barbie and Angel Reese for a new edition of the Angel Reese 1, the basketball player’s first signature sneaker. The collaboration introduces a Chalk, Pink and Purple colorway that connects Reese’s performance footwear with the visual identity of Barbie.
SNEAKERS
The sneaker uses a pale Chalk foundation with several shades of pink throughout the upper. Bright pink covers the laces, tongue, sockliner and heel area, while softer pink sections appear beneath the molded exterior structure. A yellow accent near the upper eyelet adds another detail to the palette.

Barbie and Reebok add co-branded graphics to the tongue and sockliner. A Barbie head silhouette appears on the reverse of the tongue, while Reese’s signature logo marks the front. These elements connect the sneaker with the Barbie Signature doll created in Reese’s likeness. The doll wears a miniature version of the same Angel Reese 1 colorway.
Reebok keeps the technical construction of the Angel Reese 1 intact for the collaboration. The sneaker includes the brand’s patented Energy Return System technology underfoot. Reebok developed the ERS system to support basketball performance through cushioning and energy response.

A molded TPU structure covers the upper and draws inspiration from Reese’s elegance and strength. The material supplies stability and durability during play. Reebok also places a TPU stability cup around the heel to give players additional structure during physical, high-impact action.
The model reflects Reese’s connection to basketball and personal style. She earned the nickname “Bayou Barbie” during her college career at LSU, and the Barbie partnership extends that association through her signature sneaker and accompanying doll. Mattel created the doll to recognize Reese’s work as a professional basketball player, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

The collaboration also links the release with Reese’s advocacy through the Angel C. Reese Foundation. Her organization supports girls and underrepresented communities through access to sports, education, financial literacy and additional opportunities.
Reebok launches the Barbie x Angel Reese 1 on August 3, 2026, at 10 a.m. ET through Reebok.com, and select retail partners. Adult pairs cost $160, and the release also includes children’s sizing.
