Louis Vuitton expands its Le Damier de Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection with eight new pieces that develop the line’s graphic use of gold and diamonds. First introduced two years ago, Le Damier translates the House’s Damier pattern, created in 1888, into fine jewelry through geometric forms, round diamonds and a unisex approach.

The new additions focus on earrings, bracelets and a pendant necklace. Five new ear pieces join the collection, including three large hoop earrings in yellow, white and rose gold, plus two ear cuffs offered in single and double versions. Each large hoop features 96 diamonds totaling 1.34 carats and expands on the smaller hoop styles already available.
The ear cuffs continue the collection’s emphasis on flexible styling. Their compact scale allows them to work alongside other earrings, while their geometric construction maintains the visual language established across Le Damier.
A fully adjustable sliding pendant necklace introduces another new format. Set on a supple gold chain, the necklace features a two-row jewel element associated with the collection. Its adjustable construction allows the wearer to change the length and position of the piece, including a longer bolo-style configuration.
Louis Vuitton also adds a yellow gold chain bracelet that echoes the form of the original pendants in a smaller wrist design. A larger two-row cuff provides the most substantial addition to the collection. Measuring 9mm, the bracelet features 120 diamonds totaling 2.8 carats.
Construction remains central to the identity of Le Damier. Depending on width and size, bracelets can contain an average of 50 to 70 individual links. Artisans assemble each link by hand, leaving a very small space between them to give the bracelet flexibility and create a smooth fit around the wrist. The clasp integrates directly into the overall form.
The collection’s recurring motif uses round diamonds set within slightly angled squares. Jewelers place each stone by hand using a four-grain setting. The arrangement recreates the Damier pattern through gold and diamonds, while a geometric line running through the center gives the pieces a sharper structure.
Polishing plays an important role in the final finish. Artisans work the gold by hand to create a reflective surface while preserving the geometry of the pattern. The inner contour of the ring shanks adds comfort, while the polished central line keeps the Damier design clearly defined.
Across the new pieces, Louis Vuitton continues to explore movement and flexibility through linked construction and supple chains. The large hoops introduce a stronger scale, while the ear cuffs and sliding pendant offer different approaches to layering and personal styling.
With these eight additions, the Le Damier de Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection now includes over 30 pieces. The latest designs extend the original concept through new proportions and formats while keeping the Damier pattern, gold construction and diamond setting consistent across the line.
