adidas Originals and Edison Chen have taken their collaboration to new heights with the unveiling of the latest CLOT Gazelle. This new sneaker silhouette is designed to beckon wearers to explore their inner selves and the places they escape to when they need a break. It encourages a connection with one’s essence and emotions. Global superstar JENNIE features in the campaign, opening the doors to her imagination and desires, and crafting her own reality with confidence.

The reinterpreted Gazelle features a molded outsole stitched to the suede and textile upper using traditional espadrille stitching machines. It includes a custom molded sock liner for added comfort and hand-embroidered glass beaded stripes, making each pair unique. This design invites wearers to swing between various moods with elegance and ease.

SNEAKER

Set against a backdrop with a muted effect, JENNIE’s portrayal in the campaign highlights self-escapism. Her personal touch and confident presence bring the sneaker’s design to life, offering a glimpse into her personal creative world. This collaboration focuses on the connection between personal identity and fashion, showing how footwear can reflect one’s inner journey.

The CLOT Gazelle by Edison Chen continues the cultural journey that adidas Originals and Chen have embarked on. The sneaker is priced at $160 USD and is available for sign-up on the CONFIRMED app starting June 11th, with in-store availability beginning June 14th.

Edison Chen, a leading cultural force, has made significant contributions to fashion, art, and music. Since his breakout in 2000, he has become a prominent figure in Hong Kong cinema and the music industry. In 2003, he founded CLOT, a streetwear label aimed at bridging East and West. As CLOT’s Creative Director, Chen has created a unique aesthetic that merges Chinese traditional motifs with contemporary streetwear, partnering with esteemed international brands to create sold-out designs.
