Dr. Martens continues to build on the success of its Zebzag sole with the release of two new silhouettes and an immersive brand event in New York. After a strong debut this summer through the Zebzag AnyWair Mules, the sole now enters year-round wearability with the Zebzag Laceless boot and the Zebzag Rigger boot. The brand introduces both models under the concept of “The Art of Comfort,” a theme that also guides a two-day experience in SoHo this October.

Adam Meek, chief product officer at Dr. Martens, emphasized the design philosophy behind the line. “The Zebzag sole has been purposefully engineered to meet the demands of modern life – blending standout craft, durability and everyday comfort. The new Zebzag boot silhouettes are made to move with you, slotting effortlessly into any wardrobe while delivering that unmistakable Dr. Martens edge. They reflect our commitment to innovation and timeless design, shaped by how our wearers live, move and express their individual style.”

The Zebzag Laceless boot takes inspiration from the iconic 1460 boot while introducing relaxed adjustments. It offers a slip-on fit that keeps the visual character of a lace-up. Available in Black Wyoming, Dark Brown Wyoming, and Savannah Tan Suede, the boot uses Wyoming leather for a lived-in effect straight from the box. The Dr. Martens scripted black and yellow heel loop finishes the design.

The Zebzag Rigger boot sits lower on the ankle and draws influence from traditional workwear shapes. Designed as a slip-on, it features dual pull-tabs and Puritan stitch detailing. Customers can choose between black Wyoming leather or water-resistant Milled Nubuck, offered in multiple shades. The selection includes Black Wyoming, Fuschia Pink Nubuck, Dark Brown Wyoming, DMs Olive Nubuck, Neptune Blue Nubuck.

At the core of both models lies the Zebzag sole itself. It features a cushioned EVA midsole combined with a durable PVC tread. The broader base includes exaggerated grooves, a cleated pattern, and the recognizable yellow welt stitching. Inside, SoftWair insoles add another layer of comfort.
To introduce the new silhouettes, Dr. Martens will stage a two-day event called the Art of Comfort experience. Set for October 2-3 at 45 Grand Street in SoHo, New York, the event runs from 12-7pm EST each day. The activation is free and open to the public. Attendees will encounter live soundscapes from local DJs, an immersive photobooth, themed refreshments, and access to the new Zebzag boots. The event invites fans to step into the Zebzag concept and connect with the shoes in a creative setting.
The Zebzag Laceless and Zebzag Rigger boots are now available worldwide through Dr. Martens retail stores and online, with each style priced at $160.
