Elisabetta Franchi staged her SS26 show inside Milan’s Palazzo Acerbi, the historic “House of The Devil.” The maison claimed the location for both its architecture and its symbolism, reshaping a space of mystery into a projection of the future. Franchi grounded the collection in ten words that define her vision: Empowerment, Femininity, Seduction, Determination, Beauty, Strength, Dedication, Energy, Evolution, and Future. The backstage atmosphere of Elisabetta Franchi’s SS26 show was captured by photographer Sohom Das exclusively for DSCENE Magazine.

The show unfolded through contrasts of light and shadow. Silhouettes sculpted the figure while retaining movement, presenting a woman magnetic, seductive, and independent. Fringes in tripolino, leather, and organza extended garments into space, while jersey and tulle draped across the body to create delicate transparencies. Net-effect embroidery added rhythm, and asymmetrical dresses conversed with capri trousers and long skirts worn low on the waist. Tailored blazers projected strength with broad shoulders, while knitwear clung to the skin as a second layer.
Outerwear took center stage. Blousons and pea coats in satin carried raised textures recalling ostrich leather. The trench coat expanded into oversized proportions, sensual yet functional. Denim introduced abrasions and fraying, injecting urban energy and nonchalance into the narrative.

Colors reinforced the house codes: black, butter, nude, boudoir pink, cocoa, and clay. Accessories followed the dialogue of contrasts. Soft bags appeared in maxi and mini sizes, while footwear included nappa or jersey mules, suede pumps, and slingbacks in ostrich-effect leather. Jewelry asserted presence with large metal bracelets stacked for impact.
