For Spring Summer 2026, Ludovic de Saint Sernin presented The Reverie, a collection that unraveled the grandeur of aristocracy and refashioned it into a language of sensuality, freedom, and rebellion. Nobility served as a historical point of power, but here it shifted into a modern gathering of friends who embrace audacity, authenticity, and influence. The cast included Emma Chamberlain, Alexa Chung, Sebastian Croft, and Corey Fogelmanis, alongside models Summer, Fatou, Bo, and Ana.

The designer approached this season with a romantic lens, allowing softness and delicacy to carry strength. Materials emphasized fluidity and lightness, with corsetry, lace, and lacing returning as maison signatures, reinterpreted in silks and transparent cottons. Sculptural lines brought volume without heaviness, while jackets derived from aristocratic uniforms lost rigidity in favor of softness. Dresses carried ease in their fall, and trousers gained complexity through lace cutaways.

Color added depth to the narrative. Deep purple suggested a subversive edge, while faded ivory referenced powdered wigs and Rococo salons. Porcelain blue recalled painted ceramics, lending a historical undertone without slipping into pastiche. Heritage served as starting ground, refined into pieces that spoke to liberation rather than hierarchy.

Soft silks stood beside uniform references, and lace interrupted tailored lines. Strength emerged from delicacy, creating a collection where defiance took on a quieter form. Rather than relying on rigidity, Ludovic shaped his vision through fluid gestures that emphasized freedom of movement and the intimacy of touch.

The presentation crowned a new kind of aristocracy, one defined by belonging. In this vision, elegance aligned with liberation, and sensuality served as a form of power. The circle of friends reflected a community rooted in authenticity, where influence came from presence and expression rather than tradition. Ludovic transformed the codes of nobility into tools for modern self-definition, giving the maison a season anchored in softness with intent.

The look book captured this sensibility through the lens of Jean-Baptiste Talbourdet, whose photography framed the collection with clarity. Carlos Nazario styled the presentation, while makeup came from Karin Westerlund for RAVE Beauty and hair by Karim Belghiran. Casting director Alfredo Bisciotti assembled a cast that carried the designer’s message, and LJBTN Studio shaped the art direction. The finishing details came through a manicure sponsored by Kure Bazaar, completing a presentation that united fashion, image, and craft.

With The Reverie, Ludovic de Saint Sernin invited audiences to see aristocracy not as a relic of power but as an opening toward community, freedom, and audacious presence.
