MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon continue their collaboration with a new chapter for Fall Winter 2025, unveiling a capsule defined by adaptability, function, and quiet subversion. The partnership, which has evolved into one of the most conceptually consistent dialogues between fashion and performance wear, returns with a collection designed for modern movement, across streets, trails, and states of being.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS
At the core lies the Waterproof Down Parka, a statement of construction where Salomon’s technical heritage meets MM6’s distilled design language. The down-filled shell, fully waterproof with sealed seams and an adjustable hood, carries subtle marks of identity: double-slider pockets stretched in proportion, a numeric print tag, and the Maison’s signature white stitch line along the back. It’s an object of function turned symbol, a coat that feels engineered yet unmistakably Margiela.

Exploring duality through form, the Reversible Insulated Jacket alternates between two distinct surfaces: one, a quilted shell bearing a discreet chest logo; the other, smooth and minimal, punctuated by a bold MM6 back mark. The Half-Zip Pullover Anorak echoes this design logic, borrowing from sportswear archetypes like the hoodie and reshaping them into something that transcends both utility and uniformity. The result is modular dressing, attuned to shifting identities and weather alike.
In a nod to early-2000s performance style, the Motomesh LS revives the Motomesh crewneck through MM6’s oversized lens. The debossed Salomon link appears like a memory of logos past, familiar, now reframed. Its counterpart, the Motomesh Pants, stretches the same fabric into wide-leg form, reworking technical mesh into something sculptural, fluid, and defiantly off-kilter. The High Neck Fleece, with its exaggerated neckline and loose geometry, completes the lineup, an essential reimagined with MM6’s instinct for distortion and play.

The palette, Deep Black, Abbey Stone, and Oatmeal Heather, grounds the collection in restrained contrast, while subtle shifts in tone mirror the hybrid terrain between city and summit. The footwear extends this language through the XT-MM6 and ACS PRO, two signature silhouettes reimagined in new colorways. The XT-MM6 arrives in tonal off-white, black with silver, and black with vivid red, each emphasizing engineered detail and performance structure. The ACS PRO appears in gradient white and gray or a vivid yellow-black pairing, bringing high-visibility energy to an otherwise minimal collection.
In the accompanying campaign, MM6 frames its characters mid-motion, mid-conversation, caught between post-race intensity and backstage fashion candor. Set in undefined urban spaces, the imagery blurs the distance between fashion editorial and sports reportage, creating a sense of immediacy and interruption that defines the collaboration’s visual code.
The MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon AW25 collection launches October 16, 2025, available through MM6 and Salomon’s e-commerce platforms, brand boutiques, and select retailers worldwide.
