
Sky and streaming service NOW will air a special two-hour event titled Wicked: One Wonderful Night on 8 November, bringing together Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande for an unprecedented musical celebration. Recorded live at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the broadcast honors the upcoming cinematic release of Wicked: For Good, which lands in cinemas on 21 November.

The event promises a dynamic evening featuring the film’s leading stars, Erivo and Grande, alongside Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, Bowen Yang, and Marissa Bode. Together, they will perform reimagined musical numbers, take part in cast interviews, and offer fans an inside look at the making of Wicked: For Good.

The Dolby Theatre will transform into an Emerald City-inspired stage for the night, complete with a 37-piece orchestra conducted by Stephen Oremus. The choreography, led by Christopher Scott, will reimagine iconic Wicked dance sequences exclusively for the event, creating an immersive experience that bridges stage, film, and television.
Fans can expect world premiere clips from Wicked: For Good, including two brand-new songs written by the musical’s Grammy and Oscar-winning composer Stephen Schwartz. These previews mark the first time audiences will hear music from the forthcoming film, deepening anticipation for its theatrical release.

The evening will also include appearances from Wicked and Wicked: For Good director Jon M. Chu, Stephen Schwartz, and several surprise guests. Produced by Fulwell Entertainment, the special is executive produced by Ben Winston and Raj Kapoor.
Wicked: One Wonderful Night will air exclusively on Sky and NOW on 8 November. Wicked is available to watch on Sky Cinema, while Wicked: For Good joins the platform in 2026.
