PUMA x Rombaut Extend Their Concept with Season 2

Season 2 brings three new sneakers built around a Speedcat-inspired upper and the evolved Levitation sole.

PUMA and Rombaut continue their partnership with Season 2, following the success of their first sold-out collaboration and the introduction of the Levitation sole. This final chapter builds on the original design while exploring transformation through form, texture, and elevation. The collection introduces three new styles shaped by the structure of the PUMA Speedcat.

SNEAKERS

Season 2 centers on an upper inspired by the aerodynamic shape of the Speedcat. The sneaker carries curved lines that follow the original silhouette, while Rombaut’s influence shifts the design toward a retro-futuristic direction. The construction uses technical silver mesh and man-made leather, giving the shoe a crisp, structured surface. Rombaut’s cell bubble detailing forms an organic pattern across the upper, creating a fluid visual rhythm that reflects the brand’s focus on harmony between nature and technology.

The White edition contrasts a gum sole with a soft suede toe, shaping a controlled study of purity and texture. The Black version features brown distressed tooling that brings depth and intensity, giving the sneaker a more grounded feel. Together with the Silver edition, the trio expands the Levitation concept introduced in the first collaboration and keeps the design rooted in the Speedcat’s distinctive shape.

The campaign for Season 2 frames the collection through a narrative built around lightness, freedom, and the clarity that comes from shedding external pressure. Directed and filmed by Rombaut Studio, the visuals follow the wearer through nature in a state of suspension, where movement feels unburdened. Photographer Marc Souvenir captures the brightness and softness of these moments, emphasizing the atmosphere of calm that the theme requires. Stylists Antonella Simes and Aldana Simes reinforce the concept through pared-back wardrobe choices that keep the focus on form, texture, and the Levitation sole’s elevated effect.

The campaign presents levitation as a feeling of release, a moment when life’s noise recedes and the wearer rises above it. Season 2 builds on this idea by positioning the collection as a response to disorder. In a world shaped by chaos, the impulse to rise becomes a form of clarity. The sneakers reflect this theme through their elevated structure, fluid surfaces, and focus on motion. Levitation becomes a way to reclaim a sense of freedom and move with intention, creating a quiet counterpoint to the pressures of daily life.

The rollout introduces the three colorways through a focused distribution plan. The Silver and White editions will be available on Rombaut’s website and at select retailers, including Slam Jam, Luisaviaroma, GR8, Notitle, and Casestudy. The Black edition will be sold exclusively on Rombaut’s website.
