PUMA releases a new collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, drawing direct inspiration from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Steven Spielberg’s 1982 classic from Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. The collection channels the film’s nostalgic pull and pairs it with performance features designed for the court. The movie shaped a cultural moment, became the highest-grossing film of 1982, and earned four Academy Awards® with nine nominations, including Directing and Best Picture. PUMA references that legacy through a capsule that merges big-screen emotion with current performance design.
SNEAKERS
The PUMA x E.T. All-Pro NITRO™ 2 leads the collection. The shoe features a shimmering midsole with a star-speckled effect and visual elements tied directly to the movie. The silhouette of E.T. and Elliott riding a bicycle in front of the moon appears along the upper, creating an instant link to one of the film’s most recognizable scenes. PUMA builds the sneaker with NITROFOAM™ cushioning, a setup designed for responsive support during high-intensity play. The model also brings lateral stability features that help players maintain control during fast directional changes on the court.

Engineered mesh shapes the upper and targets support and airflow during intense play. A cord lock-down lacing system integrates directly into the midsole, creating a secure hold that stabilizes the foot during multi-directional control on the court. The combination of materials and construction gives the All-Pro NITRO™ 2 a design that channels the film’s visual vocabulary while delivering a court-ready performance profile.

PUMA extends the collaboration beyond footwear with an apparel lineup that carries E.T. references into everyday wear. The offer includes two graphic tees, a hoodie, pants, shorts, and a vest. Each piece features visual cues tied to the film and invites fans to reconnect with key moments from the story. The clothing range pushes the character into a contemporary context and gives fans a way to channel the film’s charm beyond the hardwood.

PUMA schedules the collection’s release for December 19, 2025. Prices range from $40–$140, with availability on PUMA.com, PUMA flagship stores, and select retailers.
