adidas Originals and Willy Chavarria present the SS26 collection with a focused design direction shaped by expressive form and cultural clarity. Chavarria’s sensibility drives the collaboration forward, while adidas Originals contributes its familiar codes. They create a season built on strong silhouettes across apparel and footwear, each piece refined through confident use of proportion, texture, and visual intent.
Oversized shapes anchor the apparel range, supported by dense fabrics and purposeful surface treatments. The Chavarria Mockneck sets the tone with heavy cotton fleece, stacked embroidered Trefoils, and a high-density print of Chavarria’s name along the collar. The Chavarria Chicano Sweatshirt draws directly from Chavarria’s personal background, with embroidered CHICANO lettering and a puff-printed eagle on the chest. A woven Trefoil and a Mexican flag applique mark the back, giving the piece a layered cultural reference.

The Chavarria Halfzip introduces cotton fleece and satin overlays, finished with concentrated rose embroidery that reinforces Chavarria’s visual language. The Chavarria Satin Bomber continues this approach with a fully padded silhouette in satin twill, shaped for volume and presence. Metal zippers and logo pullers complete the piece. A limited-edition Leather Bomber advances the collection’s athletic direction through applied 3-Stripes and contrast piping across the jacket. The Chavarria Zip-Off Pant brings modular design to the season through layered textures, convertible features, and oversized fits that align with the designer’s direct and expressive approach.
Footwear follows the same design attitude, with structured forms, elevated materials, and distinctive details that give the collaboration a unified identity. The Chavarria Forum Boot appears in mid and low versions and channels utilitarian purpose with a sculpted profile and firm construction. A premium leather upper uses Forum design language, while archival adidas tooling shapes the foundation. A high-traction outsole supports movement, and protective caps at the toe and heel reinforce durability.

The Chavarria Forum continues the theme of strong simplicity through a premium leather upper, a branded rose on the tongue, and laces with Chavarria aglets. Gold foil insignia on the side panel and a tonal print strap emphasize the partnership’s focus on refinement through controlled detail. The Chavarria Jabbar Low returns in four colorways and pays homage to athletic references filtered through Chavarria’s viewpoint. A premium leather upper supports the silhouette, while gold-foiled callouts reading KAREEM and WILLY appear on the right and left shoes. A molded leather sockliner strengthens the structure. The folded tongue carries the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar logo on the front and Chavarria branding on the back, forming a direct link between eras and influences.
Willy Chavarria describes the collection as rooted in tension, movement, and earned presence. “This is about the beautiful tension between where we come from and where we’re destined to go. It blends grit with a refined athletic elegance, mixed with toughness and dignity. A uniform for anyone who had to earn their place in the world.”

The SS26 campaign honors identity and cultural pride through an all-Latino cast and crew. Shot at a Boys and Girls Club in Mexico City, the campaign builds its visual language through motion, self-expression, and references to Chicano culture as Chavarria interprets it.
The adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria SS26 collection arrives on December 12 at select adidas stores, the adidas CONFIRMED app and website, the Willy Chavarria website, and select retailers.
