Fortnite expands its Icon Series with the arrival of Kim Kardashian, adding another globally recognizable figure to its growing roster of musicians, athletes, and film personalities. Epic Games officially announced the collaboration, positioning Kardashian alongside previous Icon Series entrants such as Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, and Naomi Osaka.

Kardashian’s presence in Fortnite comes through a dedicated set of character skins and an emote designed to reference one of her most widely recognized cultural moments. The release builds on the Icon Series format, which allows players to step into avatars modeled after real-world figures who shape entertainment and popular culture. In this case, Fortnite draws directly from Kardashian’s public image, fashion influence, and internet legacy.
The Kim Kardashian Icon Series Bundle includes three primary skins. One features a fur coat look, another centers on a leather catsuit, and the third draws from her SKIMS label with a bodysuit-inspired design. Each skin supports extensive customization, offering more than eight alternate styles. Players can adjust hairstyles and color options, allowing for numerous variations within each look.
Beyond the skins themselves, the bundle includes additional cosmetic items. Players receive a back bling and gliders that complement the outfits, expanding the visual set beyond the core character model. The bundle also introduces an emote that revisits Kardashian’s 2014 Paper Magazine cover, a moment that once dominated online conversation. Fortnite adapts the reference for a broad audience, replacing the champagne from the original image with the game’s signature Chug Jug juice.

The Icon Series has become one of Fortnite’s most culturally visible features, frequently generating online discussion and viral moments. Kardashian’s crossover also reflects Fortnite’s ongoing relationship with fashion. Previous in-game collaborations have leaned into music performance, sports competition, and cinematic storytelling.

While the collaboration carries a sense of humor, especially through the emote, it also underscores how Fortnite functions as a platform for cultural remixing. Familiar images and personas enter the game world, reshaped through interactive design and customization. The Kim Kardashian skins and Icon Series Bundle will be available for purchase in Fortnite starting December 13.
