Hall appears in the project after strong performances in both dramatic and comedic roles across film and television. She gained renewed attention in One Battle After Another and has built a varied resume that includes entries in ensemble dramas and mainstream comedies. Young brings a rich film background that stretches from early work in Australian drama to recent roles in feature films such as Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere. Poulter, a British actor with both film and television credits, earned recognition for his turns in Dopesick and The Bear on television, each earning him Emmy nominations, and his broader film work spans major franchises and critically noticed features such as Warfare and On Swift Horses.

Driver anchors the series as J-Will, an escaped convict who finds himself cornered by law enforcement at a truck stop. In a bid to bargain for his freedom, he takes a group of strangers hostage. What begins as a desperate attempt to evade capture becomes a volatile and unpredictable confrontation. The situation escalates beyond its original thrust, evolving into a social experiment with his captives and a tense match with a veteran FBI Crisis Negotiator trained in tactical empathy.
Craig, the showrunner and executive producer, brings a background that includes screenwriting on major films. He contributed to scripts such as The Town, The Batman, and Top Gun: Maverick, demonstrating an ability to balance character drive with heightened narrative stakes. Barantini steps in as director and executive producer, adding to the series’ creative leadership. Barantini’s prior work behind the camera positioned him as a director attuned to sustained tension and character interplay.

Adam Driver holds dual roles on Rabbit, Rabbit as lead actor and executive producer. Driver earned Academy Award nominations for projects such as Marriage Story and BlacKkKlansman, and he is known for his physical precision and emotional depth in roles spanning independent drama and franchise fare. His involvement in Rabbit, Rabbit marks a high-profile return to serialized television work with a premise that places character psychology front and center.
Executive producers also include Bryan Unkeless for Night Owl Stories and Samantha Beddoe for It’s All Made Up Productions, working alongside Craig, Barantini, and Driver.
Rabbit, Rabbit invites audiences into a high-stakes hostage situation that intensifies as psychological pressure rises. With its expanding ensemble and experienced creative team, the series positions itself as a character-driven thriller that explores negotiation, survival, and escalation under duress.
