TELFAR launches Modular Shoe as a direct response to a fashion climate that feels rigid and constrained. The release extends the brand’s ongoing commitment to unisex design, following its recent collaboration with Timberland. With Modular, TELFAR focuses on non-gendered footwear built for broad wearability and visual clarity.
SHOES
The defining feature of Modular lies in its sole. A single tubular structure wraps around the toes and coils at the heel to create lift. This construction forms the foundation for three distinct silhouettes: the Mid Modular Boot, the Tall Modular Boot, and the Modular Mule. Each design relies on the same architectural base, allowing proportion and styling to shift while the structure remains constant.

The Mid Modular Boot serves as the blueprint. Crafted in 100% Nappa leather, the ankle boot features a side zip and a futurist sole that contrasts with its sunk, rounded toe and lifted heel. The shape references a Chelsea silhouette while maintaining a controlled, forward stance. The balance between rounded front and raised back gives the boot a precise profile that adapts across contexts. The Mid Modular Boot arrives in White, Black, and Drab.
The Tall Modular Boot expands the concept vertically. Constructed in stretch ribbed knit with a leather logo pull, the design emphasizes flexibility in fit and styling. The same tubular sole anchors the silhouette, while the shaft adjusts to different proportions and attitudes. Pulled high with short garments, it frames the leg with direct impact. Worn slouched, it takes on a softer contour. Tucked into wide-leg trousers, it reads streamlined and directional. Scrunched lower, it references a grounded stance. Raised over slim denim, it channels early-2000s confidence. The Tall Modular Boot is available in Black, White, Drab, and Red.

The Modular Mule translates the tubular sole into an open-back format. The heel coil remains intact, preserving lift and continuity with the boots. The upper comes in either 100% Nappa leather or ribbed knit, offering two textural interpretations of the same structure. The Mule shifts through styling with minimal adjustment. Paired with trousers, it reads as a unisex clog. Styled with a skirt, it adopts wedge-like proportions. At the beach, it operates as a slide. Combined with socks, it takes on a more playful silhouette.
Available exclusively on the Telfar website, Modular places construction at the forefront across all three styles through a shared tubular sole that establishes continuity. Each upper shifts in height and material, building a unified system from one structural base that generates distinct forms defined by a continuous line wrapping the toe and coiling at the heel.
