Adidas Originals and Hellstar introduce the Megaride S2 as their first global launch. The release follows a sequence of limited drops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Miami and brings Hellstar’s visual language to the running-inspired adidas franchise. The collaboration uses the Megaride S2 as a platform for flame graphics, chrome finishes and custom upper construction.

A white-to-black flame gradient covers the upper, creating a sharp transition from pale sections to deep black. Hellstar draws the treatment from its belief in brightness persisting through darkness. The gradient can suggest light fading into darkness or darkness giving way to light, depending on the viewer’s perspective. The label also uses its familiar flame motif to present heat as a force for change.

The upper features a custom RPU mold with exposed mesh sections. Debossed details add depth to the surface, while chrome-finished tooling introduces a reflective metallic element underfoot. A translucent outsole completes the construction and adds another layer to the sneaker’s light-and-dark theme. Together, these features reshape the Megaride S2 through Hellstar’s graphic approach while keeping the adidas running-inspired foundation visible.
The Megaride S2 continues a partnership that began with regional releases. adidas Originals and Hellstar launched a signature Superstar in Las Vegas in November 2025. They followed that release with the camouflage-print AE 2 and another Hellstar Superstar in Los Angeles in February 2026. The collaboration then reached Miami through the Hazy Orange Superstar II.

Those earlier projects established the visual direction that now reaches a wider audience through the Megaride S2. The new sneaker connects sport-inspired design with contemporary streetwear through Hellstar’s flame motif, metallic detailing and custom construction. It also gives the partnership its first international retail rollout after the previous city releases reached sellout status.
Adidas Originals and Hellstar will release the Megaride S2 globally on August 8, 2026. The sneaker will launch exclusively through the CONFIRMED App, select adidas stores and select retailers. The retail price will reach $200.
