Tommy Hilfiger introduces the Tommy Hilfiger x U.S. SailGP Team Summer 2026 collection, the second performance capsule in its multi-year partnership with the team. The release follows last year’s debut, which introduced the collaboration’s approach to sailing performance and off-water style. The line builds on the connection between sailing and the brand’s Classic American Cool identity, with apparel designed for life on and off the water. It responds to a sport that has become faster, more visible, and more closely tied to culture, translating that shift into technical pieces with a polished preppy direction.

The partnership continues a long relationship between Tommy Hilfiger and sailing. Maritime references have shaped the brand since its early years, from signal flags to the Flag logo, while competitive sailing helped define how the brand enters sport through personalities, events, and culture-driven storytelling. For Summer 2026, that history moves into a performance-led capsule made for racing conditions, travel, city dressing, and leisure.

Tommy Hilfiger describes sailing as part of the brand from the beginning, connecting the U.S. SailGP Team to a new phase of high-speed competition, entertainment, and global attention. The collection reflects that pace through a modern reading of the brand’s signature prep style. Mike Buckley, Co-Owner, Team Principal, and CEO of the U.S. SailGP Team, frames the collaboration around movement and utility, noting that the team needs clothing that can keep up beyond the race course. His view gives the capsule a clear purpose: clothes that work across the water, the city, and the moments between both.
Returning pieces from the first season anchor the collection. The Sailing Jacket leads the range, crafted in durable three-layer ripstop canvas with waterproof and windproof protection for changing conditions. The Performance Polo brings a more direct athletic focus, using moisture-wicking and anti-odor technology for visibility, comfort, and function. A quarter-zip rugby introduces a more structured sportswear note, while sweatshirts take cues from the shape and tension of a sail. The collection uses these details to connect garment construction with the visual codes of sailing.

Red, white, and blue set the foundation, while ecru, sandalwood, navy, and black add range across the wardrobe. Citra lime brings the sharpest accent, drawn from vintage jackets and placed across trims and key pieces including the hoodie, cap, and flag T-shirt. A stealth all-black edit adds a cleaner counterpoint across selected silhouettes, giving the collection a more graphic finish.
The Summer 2026 campaign presents the collection through a refined studio lens. An abstract set inspired by sails suggests movement and form, while a pale blue wash references open skies. The Tommy Hilfiger x U.S. SailGP Team Summer 2026 collection launches on May 28, 2026, online and in select Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide.
