McDonald’s and Devin Booker turn one of Arizona’s most recognizable fast-food landmarks into a Nike release with the Nike Book 2 McDonald’s. Arriving June 2, the limited-edition sneaker takes inspiration from the McDonald’s restaurant in Sedona, the only location in the world with turquoise Arches. For Booker, the reference connects his home-state roots, his McDonald’s All American past, and the Arizona places that continue to shape his signature line with Nike.

The project gives McDonald’s a direct entry into basketball footwear through one of the NBA’s most closely watched signature sneaker lines. Booker has kept Arizona close to the Nike Book story, and this release brings that idea into a sharper cultural frame.
Booker’s relationship with McDonald’s reaches back to his McDonald’s All American Games years and continued after the draft through his donation to Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern Arizona. The five-time All-Star links the Nike Book 2 McDonald’s to that personal history, while keeping the shoe within the Arizona references that guide his Nike signature line. For this release, Sedona gives the sneaker its key source: a McDonald’s location with turquoise Arches that Booker returns to during the offseason.
The release arrives in Sanddrift and Teal Nebula, with Light British Tan, Red Stardust and Dusty Cactus completing the product color details. Nike places the Air Zoom unit in the forefoot, shifting it from the heel for extra response when accelerating past defenders. Updated midfoot webbing works with the molded upper to give the shoe stability for jabs and pivots. A lighter upper compared to the Book 1 and a lower-to-the-court feel help players stay steady through hesitations and stepback jumpers. An extra-durable rubber outsole gives the pair traction for outdoor courts.

The sneaker arrives June 2 through Nike.com, the Nike SNKRS App, the Nike App, partner shoe retailers and retail stores nationwide, priced at $155. McDonald’s and Nike are also hosting a one-day pop-up today giving fans an opportunity to purchase the shoe ahead of the official release date.
