SPORTSWEAR
adidas developed Originals Sport for women who want workout clothing to reflect their identity inside and outside the gym. The collection uses recognizable adidas Originals details alongside performance technologies that support training, comfort and unrestricted movement.

Lisann Costello, Vice President of Product Design Partnerships and Sports Marketing at adidas, explains that serious training once came with an expected uniform. She says women now define performance through their own preferences and seek clothing that represents who they are as clearly as it supports their activities.
Originals Sport brings street style and sport performance into one complete training wardrobe. The collection takes inspiration from the iconic Superstar tracksuit and adapts its familiar design language for current workouts. Trefoil branding appears across feminine cut lines, expressive proportions and an unexpected color palette.

Technical materials give each piece a specific training function. adidas created the collection to provide comfort, ventilation, flexibility and support across different forms of exercise. The range includes bras, leggings, tops, lightweight layers and a one-piece option, giving women several ways to build individual gym looks.
The bra selection offers low and medium support. adidas uses AdiSOFT for breathable comfort and LYCRA ADAPTIV for flexibility. The leggings come in seven-eighth and full-length versions. Both options use LYCRA ADAPTIV to allow unrestricted movement during workouts. The Superstar Bra Tee and Originals Sport Tank Padded feature CLIMACOOL technology, which supports ventilation and cooling during training.

adidas includes the Superstar Midlayer and Originals Sport Coverup for lightweight layering. Both pieces offer versatile styling options before, during and after a workout. A onesie completes the collection and provides an expressive all-in-one option for creative layering.
McRae gives the campaign a central figure whose career connects music, performance and contemporary culture. Mernes adds another music perspective, while Murray represents professional sport through volleyball. The three women reflect the audience adidas created Originals Sport to serve.
