Converse welcomes KARINA of aespa as its newest family member, introducing the global music and style icon through campaigns for the Chuck 70 X and Run Star Crush. The two launches mark her first work with the brand and present separate interpretations of one of Converse’s most recognizable footwear franchises.

KARINA brings together music, performance, fashion and contemporary culture through an approach that resists a fixed visual identity. She explores different aesthetics both onstage and away from performance, using clothing and footwear to communicate individuality. That approach connects with Converse’s focus on authenticity, personal choice and the freedom to follow an individual direction.

The partnership centers on KARINA’s interest in breaking familiar style conventions. She views Converse as a natural canvas for experimentation and plans to use the collaboration to encourage creativity. Through her debut, she invites others to explore their own ideas and communicate personality through fashion.
“Both on stage and off, I love breaking the mold and exploring my individuality through style, and Converse is a natural canvas for that,” KARINA said. “I’m excited to join the Converse family and inspire others to celebrate their creativity and express themselves boldly.”

Converse introduces KARINA through two footwear designs with clearly different identities. The Chuck 70 X develops the familiar Converse icon through modern detailing and an elevated approach. Its design focuses on updating an established silhouette while retaining the qualities that connect it to the wider Chuck franchise.
The Run Star Crush follows a more exaggerated direction. Sculptural construction and amplified proportions give the shoe a pronounced profile, while its lightweight lift adds height.
