OTW by Vans and NEIGHBORHOOD introduce a new edition of the Authentic 44, bringing the Tokyo label’s visual language to the classic low top silhouette. The collaboration uses premium suede, monochrome color schemes and custom embossing, with Black and Natural versions arriving on August 7 for $120.

Both pairs retain the familiar Authentic construction with a vulcanized build and low profile shape. A Sola Foam ADC insole adds cushioning for extended wear, while a lace up closure allows adjustment through the upper.

NEIGHBORHOOD adds several identifying details throughout the shoe. The foxing tape carries the text “Craft With Pride Tokyo Est. 1994,” referencing the year the Japanese label began. Additional wording appears on the toe box, where “NEIGHBORHOOD® Tokyo Est. 1994 Technical Apparel Craft With Pride” forms a stacked graphic treatment.
The construction continues with a leather heel strip and binding, giving the suede upper additional material detail. A woven co branded tongue label connects both names within the design, while tonal stitching keeps each colorway consistent from the upper through its finishing details.

The Black edition applies the monochrome treatment through a dark palette, while the Natural version uses a lighter neutral finish. Both follow the same material and construction approach, allowing the suede texture, embossed branding and typography to define the collaboration.
The project brings NEIGHBORHOOD’s established graphic codes to one of Vans’ most recognizable low top forms while retaining the Authentic 44’s original design language. The vulcanized construction, suede upper and Sola Foam ADC insole combine familiar footwear elements with details created specifically for the partnership.

OTW by Vans x NEIGHBORHOOD Authentic 44 launches August 7 through vans.com/otw. Both Black and Natural colorways retail for $120.
