Dior and A24 have announced a two-year creative partnership covering film, theatre and live events, bringing the fashion house and entertainment company together through a program centered on artists, makers and new creative talent. Dior will serve as the premier partner of Cherry Lane Theatre in New York, while the wider collaboration will connect participants from film, theatre, fashion and other creative fields.

The partnership begins at Cherry Lane with an event marking one year since A24 reopened the theatre. The program will feature Both Ends, a one-off performance by Justin Vivian Bond, produced and directed by Zack Winokur. The work takes inspiration from poet and playwright Edna St. Vincent Millay, one of Cherry Lane’s founders, and connects the new partnership directly with the theatre’s history.
Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, designed costumes specifically for the performance. Bond will wear an archival piece by Paul Poiret, a designer whose clothes Millay wore and whose work influenced Anderson’s Dior Winter 2026 collection.
Dior and A24 plan to develop a curated schedule of programming both on screen and through live formats. The companies intend to support established and emerging creatives while creating opportunities for artists to connect directly with audiences. The partnership will also include initiatives for students, giving young people opportunities to engage with creative and practical aspects of filmmaking and theatre.

The collaboration continues Dior’s relationship with cinema and reflects Anderson’s ongoing interest in fashion and film. Discussing the partnership, Anderson described the potential that comes from placing two creatively driven companies alongside one another and seeing what each can bring out of the other.
A24 acquired Cherry Lane Theatre in 2023 and reopened the venue in September 2025. Founded in the 1920s, Cherry Lane holds the distinction of being New York City’s oldest Off-Broadway theatre and has provided a platform for generations of playwrights and performers. Its history includes names such as F. Scott Fitzgerald, Eugene O’Neill, Lorraine Hansberry, Kevin Bacon, Tony Curtis and Amiri Baraka.

Under A24, Cherry Lane now hosts theatre, comedy, music and film. Its recent programming includes Natalie Palamides’ Weer and Clare Barron’s You Got Older, alongside Sofia Coppola’s Sundays with Sofia screening series and Spike Lee’s 25th Hour program. The venue has also hosted performances by MIKE, Haim, Tame Impala and Lizzy McAlpine, as well as a stand-up set by Ramy Youssef.
Cherry Lane has also introduced the Cherry Lane Playwrights Collective, a nonprofit partnership with Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright and director Annie Baker, whose work includes The Flick and Janet Planet.

Founded in Paris in 1946, Dior enters the partnership alongside A24, which launched in New York in 2012. Over the next two years, their collaboration will use Cherry Lane and additional programming to connect fashion, theatre and film while supporting artists at different stages of their careers.
