Construction of San Francisco International Airport Terminal 2 started last week, the new terminal is promising to have eco-friendly features reducing gas emissions by 1,660 tons, equivalent of yearly C02 emissions coming from 210 homes. The extension will add 4 new gates, 8 new security lanes and over 20 ticketing positions, estimated cost of the project is $383 million. More images under the cut:
