Celebrating the Spring Soltice this year and the release of DreamWorks Animation's 3D THE CROODS a massive monument is erected at Stonehenge this week. This marks the first time a modern structure has ever been allowed at the grounds of this historic monument. Traditionally the first day of spring at this legendary site sees druids and pagans gather early in the morning to watch the sun rise above the prehistoric stones. This year The Croods as an additional monument will become part of the celebration.
The new animated movie (in cinemas today) follows a pre-historic family on their first road trip.
