As END Clothing marks its 20th anniversary, the UK retailer continues to lean into meaningful collaborations that reflect its roots. Its latest team-up with adidas results in the HRMY ‘Corner Shop’, a release that reimagines the legacy of the brand’s Harmony and Adistar series through the lens of a distinctly British cultural touchstone: the neighborhood corner store.
SNEAKERS
Launching on July 11, the sneaker uses the newly introduced HRMY silhouette as a platform for storytelling. The design pulls cues from the utilitarian familiarity of newsagents and corner shops, translating them into a layered construction and muted color story. The upper features a gradient Light Granite mesh that darkens toward the heel, echoing the visual flow of classic adidas runners while grounding the shoe in a palette that feels both archival and understatedly contemporary.

The Three Stripes branding in dark grey integrates seamlessly with the tonal scheme, as does the matching mesh tongue and leather eyelets. A silver flame overlay on the toebox adds a touch of unexpected texture, something like the foil lining of a snack bag or the reflective sheen of convenience store signage, depending on how you want to read it. The subtle Halo Blue adidas branding on the tongue and the dual adidas and END logos on the heel tab reinforce the collaborative nature without disrupting the design’s quiet sensibility.
END branding appears only on the tongue of the right shoe and the insole, giving the partnership a confident but not overbearing presence. Underfoot, a white and blue foam midsole adds balance and support, riding atop a tonal outsole that stays consistent with the rest of the shoe’s soft-hued attitude.

Where recent END x adidas releases like the Y-3 collab leaned more experimental, the HRMY ‘Corner Shop’ feels like a comfortable nod to nostalgi a,rooted in streetwear but refracted through a very specific local lens. It’s subtle, but deliberate, much like the familiar spaces it references. And in a year full of anniversary drops, this one doesn’t scream for attention, it earns it by design.
Priced at $189, the sneaker will be available in men’s sizing through END’s website and in-store beginning July 11. For those who grew up popping down to the corner shop for a quick errand, or just appreciate quiet storytelling through footwear, this is one worth queuing up for.
