Discover the Vincent Billeci spring summer 2015 womenswear collection, the up and coming Italian designer has presented more than thirty new looks.
The main elements in which the collection moves are Ballarò, Vucciria and popular markets, the period between the 40’ and the 50’, the fireworks of the summer festivals. Contemporary Sicily with its hidden and precious beauties, with its fairy-like stereotypes characterized a curvy, tight and almost exclusively vertical silhouette that gives a terse sensuality; it opens in a particular androgyny that borrows textiles and solutions from male wardrobe. Guttuso’sVucciria is the inspiration for the sheath dress, item passepartout designed with a daring horizontal cut-out under the breast. An element underlined by sparkling contours (like the silk blouse) that interrupt the fluid surfaces exposing the skin that emerged as an island. – from Vincent Billeci
