
Fashion house KENZO introduces its latest creative collaboration with Futura 2000, marking a new chapter in its Fall Winter 2025 rollout. The exclusive collection, first previewed during the brand’s FW25 Men’s runway show, draws from both street culture and design history. Artistic director Nigo reunites with Futura 2000, reviving a creative partnership that traces back over two decades.
Futura 2000 brings his distinctive graffiti-based style to the collaboration by reshaping two key KENZO codes: the Boke Flower and the KENZO Paris logo. His abstract atomic elements interact with KENZO’s floral motifs, creating a layered visual rhythm. The Boke Flower gains an angular edge, while the Paris logo takes on a scrawled, textural form, nodding to Futura’s origins in street art.


In a statement about the partnership, Futura reflects on the reunion with Nigo, describing the process as both energizing and deeply personal. Their shared history includes multiple past projects, now reignited under the umbrella of KENZO. Futura emphasized how Nigo’s design vision shaped the collaboration, and how the reinterpretation of his atomic symbols onto high-end fabric gave him a renewed sense of excitement.
The visual core of the collection centers on a charged allover animation that combines Futura’s Atom motif with the redrawn Boke Flower. The collision of the two visuals reflects motion and unpredictability, channeling the momentum of urban energy into wearable form.



The collection delivers a full wardrobe, designed with a strong visual focus, it includes graphic jersey tops, upgraded knitwear, and functional outerwear pieces such as windbreakers and coach jackets. The wardrobe speaks to the hybrid direction of Nigo’s KENZO, where streetwear elements meet archival codes.
Japanese photographer Jiro Konami captured the campaign imagery inside Futura’s New York atelier. The setting adds personal depth to the visuals, connecting the artist’s work environment with the energy of the garments.
The KENZO x FUTURA 2000 collection is set to release on July 7 through the brand’s stores, website, and select retail partners worldwide.
