Toy company Mattel has honoured the British activist and model Adwoa Aboah with her own Sheroes doll in celebration of International Women’s Day. Her doll is a replica of the look Adwoa wore when she won Model of the Year Award at the Fashion Awards in 2017.

For the 60th anniversary, Barbie has started a Sheroes initiative, making a dolls of the real and talented women to inspire and empower little girls. Besides Adwoa, snowboarding champion Chloe Kim, Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas and celebrity Zendaya have their own dolls.
