Discover Christian Wijnants‘ Fall Winter 2020.21 collection that was inspired by a Sunday afternoon spent at a historic museum – where objects from all over the world add to the same story, presented on Friday February 28th at Palais de Tokyo, during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. The collection explores diversity and unity.
FALL WINTER 2020.21 WOMENSWEAR
“The collection begins with a mix of what the brand has become known for, inventive knitwear and fluid dressing, before moving on to colorful prints through a continued poetic approach to designing. Different techniques can be seen throughout, from handmade crochet pieces that are designed to replicate a reptile to fringe made of jersey fabric that has been stretched to create a natural roll. The RTW is soft, but abstract, effortless and minimal such as the oversized coats with exaggerated necks that resemble a cocoon and a suit that is bold in color yet relaxed in its silhouette, balancing between masculine and feminine.“
