“Dolce & Gabbana Summer 2021 looks at the Humanitas University Campus in Milan are a tribute to Italian genius and recall the colours of the sea. The meeting between contemporary and neoclassic inspires a collection of pure sartorial architecture. In partnership with For Funding by Intesa Sanpaolo Bank and in compliance with the health regulations in force in Italy, the event supports Fondazione Humanitas per la Ricerca for Scientific Research,” shared Dolce & Gabbana press team.
White and marine blue shape the collection along with DG signature prints depicting roman tiles and sculpture in a romanticised manner the label is so familiar with. The DG hunk navigates the summer with oversized garments influences by sartorial tailoring often attributed to the atelier under Domenico Dolce. Double breasted suits take the spotlight alongside light and breezy summer layering, taking you through pictures of relaxing summer sunsets and unforgettable nights.
These reminiscing of a relaxed summer seems to come as an objective of the design duo, who successfully took everyone’s mind of the pandemic anxiety so troubling to all of us.
