Luxury house CELINE presented their Fall Winter 2022.23 – 14 – Dans Paris – Womenswear Collection with a film captured at two historical monuments of the French capital by the brand’s creative director Hedi Slimane. Part of the show was filmed at the newly restored “Salons D’Apparat” of the Hôtel de la Marine, this was the first show presented in the space since its restoration. The rooms were originally used to present the Royal collections to French and foreign visitors. The Hôtel De La Marine was designed and built between 1757 and 1774 by the architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel. The second part of the film was captured at the Hôtel National des Invalides, historically used for the reception of head of states during official visits in Paris, the show started in the “Cour D’Honneur”, the main courtyard in the heart of the building. In charge of styling, set design, and casting was Hedi Slimane, with beauty from hair stylist Esther Langham, and makeup artist Aaron De Mey.
All Covid-19 health measures were respected and enforced throughout this production.
