Fashion house PALM ANGELS has collaborated with heritage brand BARBOUR to create a brand new colourful version of their iconic Bedale wax jacket. In a fusion of sartorial style codes and tradition that merges with a distinctive and authentic language, Palm Angels and Barbour have re-imagined the Bedale wax jacket in one-of-a-kind colours never seen before on a wax jacket including hot pink, scarlet ibis and vibrant yellow with the Palm Angels logo screen printed on the back. This collaboration brings the bold vision that Palm Angels is known for, based on explicit values that reference a deep sense of belonging expressed by freedom, individuality and exploration in the broader sense and gives it a British country twist.
CAPSULE COLLECTIONS
The Bedale Wax Jacket is colored in three different versions – hot pink, scarlet ibis and vibrant yellow with the Palm Angels logo screen printed on the back. The traditional 6oz Sylkoil wax has been dyed in three exclusive hot hues that coordinate with the 8 wale cord trim, 2oz nylon drip strip, high-density cotton lining and special edition tartan detailing. Finished with an off-centre Palm Angels logo print in a distressed finish printed on to the fabric prior to the waxing process, this collaboration brings the bold vision that Palm Angels is known for, based on explicit values that reference a deep sense of belonging expressed by freedom, individuality and exploration in the broader sense and gives it a British country twist.
The launch of this unique collaboration will be on March 31st and distributed on Palm Angels, Barbour and Farfetch official sites. The collection will also be available in Barbour’s London stores in Carnaby Street and Covent Garden, and through selected stockists including Flannels and Selfridges, London. Globally, it will be available at Barbour’s TMALL platform in China and LF MALL in Korea.
