Luxury house Giorgio Armani presented its PRIVÉ Fall Winter 2023.24 Collection named Le Temps Des Roses, with a fashion show held on Tuesday, July 4th, at Les Invalides, during the ongoing Paris Fashion Week. The collection explores red roses in bloom and their seductive, enigmatic flourish, that oozes sensuality and charm. The lustrous, polished roses are meticulously imprinted onto surfaces, forming a captivating design with striking black elements and glittering gold accents. The collection, which travels from the West to the East, features elongated contours, reinventing the most iconic of flowers without falling to clichéd romanticism.
The rose, which is inextricably linked to the female imagination and the world of haute couture, is depicted here via the designer’s keen and precise perspective. The clothes have sharp yet supple lines that shape the figure with grace and finesse. Each piece sculpts the wearer’s figure, whether it’s a small jacket, a flowing skirt, fluid pants, or a dress. The heels are always slender and towering. Petals and buds harmoniously merge with rhythmic geometries, lines of luminosity, and subtle allusions to distant worlds and cultures. This combination results in a composite pattern in which the protagonist is a woman who very consciously seduces.
