Travis Scott, known for his high-energy performances and eclectic fashion sense, turned heads at Game 2 of the NBA Finals last night. While he’s a staunch Houston sports fan, supporting teams like the Rockets and Astros, Scott’s recent courtside appearance saw him sporting a new, Boston Celtics-inspired colorway of the Jordan Jumpman Jack.

SNEAKERS

This never-before-seen sneaker was a showstopper, aligning perfectly with the intense atmosphere of the Finals.

Design and Aesthetic

The Boston Celtics inspired Jordan Jumpman Jack deviates from the earthy tones commonly associated with Scott’s Jordan Brand collaborations. Instead, this pair features a vibrant two-tone design, dominated by almost neon green accents atop a stark black base. The green is reminiscent of the eye-catching shades used in Jordan Brand’s XBOX collaborations from the late 2010s, adding a fresh and dynamic look to the sneaker.

Key design elements remain consistent with previous releases. The iconic backwards Swoosh on the midfoot and the embroidered graphic on the forefoot strap retain their presence, tying the new colorway to Scott’s signature style. The bold green accents provide a striking contrast against the black, making the sneaker stand out in any setting.

Speculation and Availability

As of now, there’s no official word on whether this colorway will see a public release. Given its unique design and the timing of its debut, it’s plausible that this version is a Player Exclusive (PE) created specifically for Travis Scott. Sneaker enthusiasts and fans alike are left wondering if more Finals appearances by Scott will reveal additional team-inspired colorways, perhaps even for the Dallas Mavericks.

The Boston Celtics-esque Jordan Jumpman Jack is a testament to Travis Scott’s influence in the sneaker world and his ability to seamlessly blend sports and fashion. The vibrant green and black colorway not only pays homage to a successful out-of-town team but also redefines the aesthetic boundaries of Scott’s collaborations with Jordan Brand. Keep an eye out for further updates on this potential release and any new variations that might make an appearance as the NBA Finals continue. Whether this sneaker hits the shelves or remains a courtside exclusive, it’s clear that Travis Scott continues to push the envelope in sneaker culture.
