Peet Dullaert Spring Summer 2025 collection unfolds as a study in fluidity, form, and the nuanced dialogue between structure and delicacy. At its core lies a tribute to the sacred feminine, expressed through an intricate interaction of sculptural lines, sheer craftsmanship, and the quiet strength of fragility. The collection opens with Nastya and concludes with Hedvig Maigre, framing a procession of silhouettes that invite an intimate connection between fabric and wearer.
Crafted entirely by hand in the tradition of cousu main, the garments reflect a deep engagement with drape, texture, and the body’s natural contours. Key elements include precise cuts revealing the scapula and shoulders, while Preciosa crystal embellishments trace the nape of the neck and the curve of the calves. These accents, rather than serving as mere decoration, reinforce a sense of elegance rooted in movement and exposure, acknowledging both vulnerability and resilience in equal measure.

“I felt the need for something very clear and sensitive,” Dullaert explains. “Hyper solutions in the manipulation of sculptural shape, fabric, and color contrast – all together adding to the revelation of fragility that lies beyond the first glance.” The collection sees an ongoing exploration of volume, with pure silk taffeta, Gazar, originally developed for Cristóbal Balenciaga, Plissé, Voile, and Tulle working in harmony with the human form. These materials, chosen for their balance of structure and weightlessness, shape the silhouette while allowing unrestricted movement, a necessity in contemporary dressing.
A signature technique returns this season, merging layers of Silk Crêpe Georgette in a way that suggests a unified fabric, one that breathes and moves effortlessly with the wearer. This process, rather than imposing rigid tailoring, encourages a natural rhythm, a synergy between garment and motion. The collection’s modern approach is not about forceful reinvention but an intuitive adaptation of design to the lived experience of those who wear it.

At the heart of Dullaert’s philosophy lies an essential question: What is beauty? For the designer, it is not simply an outcome but a process, one shaped by the wearer as much as the creator. “From the cuts that mold on the body, to embrace it, not claim,” he reflects, “my inspiration with the Atelier is rooted in a celebration of us, people.” Artisanal fabric manipulation transforms surfaces, bringing a contemporary ease to suiting, construction adapted for modern posture, and fluid tailoring that prioritizes both form and function.
The collection serves as a meditation on resilience in a digital age, with silhouettes emerging from a storm, an emblem of both strength and renewal. These pieces are meant to be lived in, to allow freedom rather than constraint. In Dullaert’s vision, fashion is not an imposition but a conversation, a meeting point between craftsmanship, movement, and the ever-evolving nature of self-expression.
