Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin continue their partnership with the release of the Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition, a timepiece designed to capture the thrill of high-performance engineering and horology. Merging Aston Martin’s automotive excellence with Girard-Perregaux’s watchmaking mastery, the watch creates an experience that heightens the senses.

At the heart of this edition is an iridescent dial inspired by the rich heritage of British sports cars. Crafted using a complex 14-step process, the dial features 15 ultra-thin layers of automotive paint, achieving a striking green hue that shifts to orange depending on the angle of light. This dynamic color treatment echoes the precision and craftsmanship found in Aston Martin’s signature vehicles.
Constructed from Grade 5 titanium, the Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition prioritizes both durability and lightweight performance. The case and bracelet exhibit a mix of brushed and polished finishes, enhancing its visual depth. The watch’s skeletonized hands draw inspiration from Aston Martin’s iconic front grille, while the applied indices and counters are treated with grey-toned PVD, harmonizing with the titanium structure. Luminescent accents ensure legibility in low-light conditions, reinforcing its functional appeal.
Underneath the refined exterior, the watch houses the in-house GP03300 automatic movement, visible through a sapphire caseback adorned with the Aston Martin logo. The movement is decorated with Geneva stripes, beveling, and mirror-polished screws, exemplifying Girard-Perregaux’s attention to detail. The timepiece includes a 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph register, a small seconds display, and a date window positioned between four and five o’clock, balancing practicality with design.
