Reebok and Walker Wear have joined forces to present a new collection launching globally in Spring 2025. This collaboration, which debuts during Women’s History Month, brings together Reebok’s sports heritage and Walker Wear’s deep roots in hip-hop culture. Designed to promote unity, empowerment, and cultural legacy, the collection aligns with Reebok’s Human Rights Now! and United Against Racism initiatives.

At the forefront of this release is a special edition of Reebok’s Freestyle Hi, a sneaker known for its cultural significance and strong connection to women’s fashion in the 1980s and 1990s. The updated design features a custom hairy suede upper with metallic gold details, hidden purple hook-and-loop straps, and a lateral patch reading “Lateral Cooperation Creates Vertical Movement.” The shoe is available in women’s sizes ranging from 5 to 12 and is priced at $100.
Complementing the footwear, the collection includes apparel that emphasizes both comfort and statement-making design. A jumpsuit in army green crinkle fabric features bungee and toggle details, along with Walker Wear’s signature “W” logo on the belt loop, available for $150. A cozy fleece crewneck, priced at $60, carries the phrase “Fly Is As Fly Does” across the chest, reinforcing the brand’s philosophy of self-expression and confidence. A simple yet impactful short-sleeve tee rounds out the collection, available for $35.

Walker Wear, founded in Brooklyn in 1987 by April Walker, has long been a pioneering force in streetwear. Initially operating as a custom tailoring shop, the brand quickly evolved into a key player in hip-hop fashion, outfitting some of the biggest names in music and entertainment. Walker Wear has consistently maintained its cultural relevance, bridging generations of style and influence while representing New York’s urban fashion legacy.
Reebok’s collaboration with Walker Wear extends beyond clothing and footwear. As part of their ongoing commitment to social responsibility, Reebok has pledged support for organizations like Black Girls Sew, a nonprofit dedicated to providing young creators with access to sewing and design education. Founded in 2013, Black Girls Sew empowers youth by equipping them with valuable skills in textiles and entrepreneurship.

April Walker expressed the deeper significance of this partnership, highlighting the shared history between Reebok’s Freestyle Hi and Walker Wear’s influence on hip-hop and street fashion. “Partnering with Reebok is a testament to the power of collaboration in driving positive change. Both Reebok and Walker Wear are celebrated in their respective fields, and this collection reflects our shared values of empowerment and cultural legacy. It’s about elevating women’s voices while celebrating the strength of unity and interdependence. Together, we’re inspiring a new generation to uphold that legacy.”
The campaign surrounding the collection features a group of emerging creatives, entrepreneurs, and artists who embody the values of inclusivity and empowerment. Walker Wear ensured that women played key roles both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, further reinforcing the message of visibility and representation.

Chloe Mann, product manager for Reebok’s Human Rights Now! and energy collaborations division, emphasized the broader purpose of this launch. “This collaboration feels like coming full circle. Reebok’s Freestyle Hi and Walker Wear are iconic staples, deeply woven into the fabric of hip-hop and Black style. Both brands played significant roles in shaping cultural history, and this collection celebrates that shared influence, inviting both our communities to join the movement for equality.”
The Reebok x Walker Wear collection will be available exclusively on Reebok.com starting March 21, 2025, at 10 a.m. ET.
