Willy Chavarria introduces the “New York Collection,” a focused lineup of graphic-driven pieces that honor the city’s influence on his brand. This latest release follows his recent Paris-themed capsule, expanding on the concept with a design that channels classic New York aesthetics.
The collection uses Old English typography, with the brand’s name arched over its signature rose emblem and “New York” positioned below. The design takes cues from the Paris collection that debuted after Chavarria’s February runway show, but this time, the color palette shifts to navy and off-white “Tofu,” a nod to the iconic Yankees colors. The lineup consists of a printed hoodie, two t-shirts, and two embroidered snapback caps, with prices ranging from $95 to $250 USD.

Chavarria’s work often pulls from vintage athletic and worker uniforms, giving his casual pieces a structured, familiar feel. His latest essentials continue that direction, offering a clean, straightforward design that avoids excessive detailing. The “New York Collection” focuses on simplicity, with bold graphics and minimal embellishments delivering a refined yet effortless aesthetic.

Chavarria’s recent projects lean heavily into graphic storytelling. From his Paris collection with adidas to the Super Bowl halftime show capsule with Kendrick Lamar and his Human Rights Watch collaboration, 2025 has brought a steady stream of statement-driven drops. Each release reinforces his ability to translate cultural influences into wearable pieces with a strong point of view.
The “New York Collection” is available now through Willy Chavarria’s official web store. With the designer’s growing presence and recognition, including his CFDA American Menswear Designer of the Year award in 2024, this release adds another chapter to his evolving catalog of city-inspired collections.
