The Frankie Shop, the label synonymous with refined ease and sharp minimalism, lands in Abu Dhabi this April with its first-ever regional activation, an exclusive two-week pop-up at Miza, the creative district of Mina Zayed Port. Running from April 18 to May 1, 2025, the launch marks a milestone for the brand, introducing its signature aesthetic to the Middle East through a multifaceted experience blending fashion, art, and culture.
DESIGN
In collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the pop-up marks the brand’s growing global footprint and its commitment to connecting with audiences through meaningful, location-specific design. Built in partnership with LA-based creative agency Perron-Roettinger, the space captures the cool precision of The Frankie Shop, transforming the showroom into a living portrait of the brand’s customer, from morning rituals to late-night city walks.

To celebrate the regional debut, The Frankie Shop has unveiled an exclusive Abu Dhabi collection. With a curated edit of 50 ready-to-wear designs, the capsule offers a focused take on the brand’s essentials: exaggerated shoulders, fluid tailoring, and tactile textures built for transition from day to night. In addition to avant-première pieces and bestsellers, guests can expect city-ready layers that distill contemporary elegance into wearable form.
The immersive environment goes beyond the rack. At the heart of the space is The Frankie Coffee Shop, a collaboration with 48 Collagen Café, offering specialty drinks and a moment of calm amid the curated frenzy. LED masks are also available, blending self-care with design utility. Across the venue, guests encounter hanging palm tree carpets designed by Cheb Moha, a tribute to Abu Dhabi’s visual language filtered through The Frankie Shop lens. Regional illustrator Tulip Hazbar has also created an exclusive artwork for the space, while Karen Wazen sunglasses are offered with customized pouches designed in collaboration with the brand.

Programming will unfold across the two weeks, anchored by styling sessions led by founder Gaëlle Drevet. Her hands-on approach to wardrobe building will offer attendees a direct connection to The Frankie Shop’s philosophy, streamlined, intelligent, and grounded in real-life dressing. Celebrated fashion stylist Bettina Looney joins the lineup with personalized styling appointments, while regional creatives host panels on contemporary fashion through a local lens.
The Frankie Shop’s Abu Dhabi debut positions fashion as part of a wider cultural ecosystem, one where architecture, identity, and slow luxury coexist in dialogue. As the Mina Zayed district continues to evolve as a creative landmark, the pop-up serves as both an introduction and an invitation, offering a look into how style moves across time zones, climates, and personal rituals.
Open daily from April 18 to May 1, The Frankie Shop at Miza is free to attend, with registration available for all talks and sessions via brands official website.
