The Jordan Luka 4 returns this summer in a fresh Laser Blue colorway, scheduled for release on June 5, 2025. The shoe arrives in a palette that speaks to the season – Football Grey covers the base, while accents in Copa, Vapor Green, and Laser Blue energize the upper. Priced at $130, the release continues the strong showing for Luka Dončić’s fourth signature silhouette.
This version of the Luka 4 leans into the familiar performance-first approach that has defined the line so far. Its upper makes use of breathable mesh across the forefoot, supported by stitched overlays that weave in bright green and blue hues. The dynamic color application isn’t just for looks – it complements the shoe’s sculpted form, which helps facilitate quick cuts and pivots on the court. Luka’s compass logo lands on the tongue in green and orange, one of the few warmer shades on this otherwise cool-toned sneaker.
Function meets form through the cushioning setup. Jordan Brand integrates Zoom Air with Cushlon foam in the midsole, offering responsiveness and comfort tuned to Dončić’s unpredictable movement style. The outsole carries a gradient of blue and white in a cloudy swirl, further anchoring the color story. Green dominates the heel portion of the midsole, extending up through parts of the shank for added visual continuity.
The Laser Blue colorway also appears on the Luka .77, a more casual, outdoor-ready companion to the mainline performance model. It uses the same core tones but swaps out some of the flashier detailing for a white midsole and slightly cleaner silhouette. Retailing for $100, the Luka .77 will release alongside the Luka 4 on the same day.
Design references in both models hint at Dončić’s professional journey. The laser blue shade was first seen on a pair of Air Jordan 36 Player Exclusives he wore during Dallas’s deep playoff run in 2022. That campaign marked a pivotal point in Luka’s NBA tenure, pushing the Mavericks into the Conference Finals for the first time since Dirk Nowitzki’s era. Though his team affiliation has shifted, the color choice maintains a visual link to that historic run.
